Worley Manuel Walters was born on 28 May 1924 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was the son of Thadeus Raymond Walter and Iva Blanche Leonard. He Died non Battle 14 July 1945, of a drowning accident in Columbia, South Carolina.
Sgt Walters was a veteran of 33 months overseas during which he was wounded in action in the South Pacific. Sgt. Walters was stationed in the Columbia Recruiting Station at the time of his death.
