He graduated at Fulton High School with the class of 1966. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines immediately after graduation. He took his basic training at Parris Island, S.C., and advanced training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Camp Pendleton, Calif. Shipped out to viet where he was killed in action performing heroic actions. Proud to be in service to his country. One of the few young men still remembered fondly by his pastor and members of North Knoxville Baptist Church.
