Pvt. William R. (Bill) Kilgore, former employe of the Whitwell Mining Company was killed in Germany March 5, the War Department notified relatives. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bessie Gellion, Victoria, Tenn.; one brother, Herschel Kilgore in the navy, and a sister, Miss Irene Kilgore of Chattanooga.
