Mr. William Leroy Thomas Jr., of the U.S. Navy, stationed at Portsmouth, Va., died March 25 following an automobile accident. Samson Coleman,  of the navy, came as an escort from Portsmouth with the body. Survivors: father, Mr. William Leroy Thomas Sr.; step-mother, Mrs. Phoebie Thomas; sister, Miss Montanna Thomas, all of Chattanooga; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
