William J.B. “Will” Sherrill was born in 1896 at Burke, Tennessee. He was the son of Adam Sherrill and Mary Ann DeRossett.
Served in World War I as a Private in Company D, 57th Pioneer Infantry, from 29 Sep 1918 until he died from pneumonia at Brest, Finistère, Bretagne, France.
