William Harvey Keener was born 31 October 1891 in Boyds Creek, Tennessee to Joseph Abraham Keener and Hannah Christine Clark. He was a Private in the 126th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Division. He died on 10 October 1918.

“Uncle Bill, William Harvey, was killed in WW I during the last days of the war. He is buried in the Meuse-Argonne Cemetery (G, 41, 24 ), 26 miles northwest of Verdun, France.”
