William Edgar Nunnally was born in Jellico, Campbell County, Tennessee to Robert Lee Nunnally and Cynthia Ella Douglas. He enlisted at the Navy recruiting station in Nashville, TN on 15 November 1917. Died at Naval Hospital, Hampton Roads, VA, of disease 15 February 1918 at the age of 19.
