Wilbur (Wilber) Moore was born 14 July 1893, Meigs County, Tennessee. Wilbur Moore was inducted into military service on 1 September 1918 at Camp Sherman, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was a farmer prior to his induction. He died 8 October 1918 of pneumonia. Pvt Moore is buried at Hickory Flat Cemetery, Meigs County, Tennessee.
