Wayne Loyd Myers was born 7 November 1918 to James Lewis Myers and Virgie Ann McFall.
He died of wounds suffered in action 22 April 1945 in Germany. He was with the second armored division in the invasions of North Africa, France, Italy, Sicily, Normand and Germany. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and the soldiers Medal of honor.
