Aircraft B-25H with serial number 43-5068 departed Borinquen, P.R. on a ferry mission to Waller Field, Trinidad and failed to arrive at destination. Whereabouts of aircraft or crew is unknown. The crewmembers arrived at the station per par. 2, Operations Order #149, Headquarters 558th AAF Base Unit, Nashville, Tennessee, dated 3 August 1944. Lt. Sheehan and T/Sgt Mason were to return to their Home station, Nashville, Tennessee, upon completion of delivery of aircraft. Lt. Vogeler, Lt. Bowers and Cpl McGregor were assigned to Rotation Project #1. Shipment ATC 453, and were to report to their new duty station overseas for PCS: Organization of Lt. Sheehan and T/Sgt Mason is 20th Ferrying Group, Nashville, Tennessee. The only organization known for Lt. Bowers, Lt. Vogeler, and Cpl. McGregor is above mentioned Shipment #.
