Pvt. Warren G. Clift, age 21, died in a Wichita, Kansas hospital Tuesday as the result of injures received in an automobile accident there June 2. At the time of the death of Pvt. CLift he was stationed with the U.S. Army Air Force, near Pratt, Kan. The remains arrived in Chattanooga at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and was removed to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Clift of Soddy. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Edwin L., of U.S. Navy; Kenneth D. and Raymond Devon Clift; four sisters, Mildred, Catherine, Joyce and Virginia Sue, all of Soddy; grandmother, Mrs. Alice Clift, and several aunts and uncles.
