Troy Eldridge Huskey was born on 13 April 1914 to Leonidas Lafayette Huskey and Alice Analee Ramsey. He married Katrina McCarter in 1941 and entered the service on 8 May 1942. He was killed in action 10 November 1942 while serving with the Infantry.

Pvt Huskey was returned from Casablanca, European Cemetery, Morocco. He is buried at Knoxville National Cemetery, B, 6251.

Pvt Troy E. Huskey, 28, Sevier County farmer, was killed in action Nov. 10 in the African area. His father, Lee Huskey, 1308 Grand Avenue, has received official confirmation of the death from the War Department. No other details were given.
