S/Sgt Thomas R. Michael, was killed in action in Holland on November 4, 1944. S/Sgt Michael was supervisor at NARC at the time he entered the service November 15, 1942. He received his training at Camp Adair, Ore., and Camp Carson, Colo., before going overseas in September of 1944. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.R/ Michael of 109 W. Holston Ave., Johnson City. His brother, Nicholas, is also a supervisor in the NARC Coning Department. His other brother, Claude, Y 3/c served in the Naval Air Corps.
