Thomas Glenn Sisson was born in Delton, Georgia, the son of Thomas Benton Sisson and Minnie Ella Roberts. He was the brother of Lucila Sisson, Cecil Sisson, Leona Sisson, Ada Sisson, and Dorothy Sisson. He married Ora Sue Ball in July 1943. He enlisted on February 12, 1943, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA and served in the European Theater of Operations. He was send overseas in December, 1943. He was killed in action while in Italy.
Funeral services were held September 28, 1948, at Oakwood Church of God with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Knoxville.
