Military funeral services will be held at Memphis for Lt. Col. Thomas A. Chichester, formerly of Edwards, who died at Kennedy General Hospital in Memphis from an illness contracted in the South Pacific where he had been for the past three and a half years. Col. Chichester, 51, was born and reared at Edwards and later attended Millsaps College and Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Prior to his entrance in the service he was engaged in the practice of denistry in Memphis. Besides his wife, the former Lucile Smith of Shelby, he is survived by one brother, R.R. Chichester, Edwards and five sisters, Mrs. A.J. Lewis and Mrs. A.M. Ragan, Edwards, Mrs. H.C. Decelle and Mrs. H.P. McKeown, Vicksburg, and Mrs. Julian Carroll of Jackson.
