Theron C. Terry – The body of Theron C. Terry, who was killed in action in the North African campaign April 23, 1942, is scheduled to arrive in Oneida today from overseas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Terry of Oneida. Joined the U. S. Army in February, 1940, spending more than three years in the service with about seven months overseas. He is survived by his parents, seven brothers, three sisters, and a large number of relatives. Funeral services will be held here at the Pentecost Baptist church Sunday morning at 10:00, with Revs. L. M. Jeffers and Albert Chitwood officiating. Interment in the family cemetery where a Military funeral will be conducted by Scott county post American Legion. Hickman Funeral Home in charge.
