Funeral services for Cpl. Steven T. Haworth, 26, who died Monday at the Lt. Lewis General Hospital at Ft. Lewis, Wash., as a result of a fractured skull, will be held at the Cleveland Va., Presbyterian church. Interment will follow in the Cleveland Cemetery. Cpl. Haworth graduated from Cleveland high school in 1934, and was a member of the Cleveland Presbyterian church. He entered the army in 1942, and received his basic training at Ft. Belvoir, Va., and was stationed at Camp Abbott, Ore., before going to Ft. Lewis with the engineering corps. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Haworth, of Holston Valley, Tenn., and the following brothers and sisters: Cecil King, Harold and Charles Haworth of Holston Valley, Robert Haworth of Bristol, and Carl and Howard Haworth, with the U.S. Army in France, Virginia Haworth of Bristol and Claudine Haworth of Shreveport, La.
