Samuel Paul Jones was born at Clinchport, Virginia, the son of James Robert Carnary Jones and Martha Barnett.
He inducted in the U.S. Army on March 13, 1943. Killed on November 30, 1944 in California in a plane crash. Attended Holston High School, Baptist Church. Husband of Mrs. Blanche Dolen Jones, Route No. 4, Kingsport, TN.
