Robert Henry Lawson was born 17 September 1920. He was the son of William Newton Lawson and Fannie Jane Lewis.
PFC Lawson was killed in action near Bastogne, Belgium, 1 January 1945.
He is buried in Ocoee, Polk Co, TN.

Pfc. Robert H. Lawson, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.N. Lawson of Ocoee, Tenn has been reported killed in action in Belgium on Jan. 1. He was with the TVA at Parsville before entering the service. Other survivors are two brothers, Pvt. Franklin W. Lawson, U.S. Army and Lewis Lawson of Ocoee, five sisters, Mrs. Jon Schabell of McDonald, Mrs. Gilbert Beckler and Mrs. Hoyte Pippinger of Benton, Mrs. Bess Evans of Cleveland and Miss Mae Lawson of Ocoee.
