Riley Sutton, the youngest son of George W. Sutton and Annie Owens Sutton, was killed in action during WWII in Italy. He was survived by his parents and one brother, Lon L. Sutton. He was a grandson of John Thomas Owens and Elizabeth Lanham Owens. He was a GGG-grandson of Abel Lanham (buried at the nearby Lambert Cemetery), a Revoluntary War Soldier. Riley Sutton is buried at England Cemetery, Tazewell, Claiborne County, Tennessee.
