Private First Class Richard Jeff Rimer was a member of Battery B, 15th Field Artillery Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. He was killed by multiple gunshot wounds from a Russian burp gun while on guard at a compound near Yang Yang, South Korea. He died October 4, 1962.
