Mrs. Floyd Guess, 502 Bell Avenue, reported she had been notified two weeks ago that her son, Ralph M. Miller, was killed in the Pacific theater of war on Nov. 25. Miller joined the marine corps more than a year ago and had been overseas for six months. He attended Northside Junior High School and was a member of the Cavalry Baptist Church, Bell Avenue.
