Ralph Lambert was born 16 December 1924, son of George Lambert. He was a graduate of Maryville High School and was a student at Clemson A&M College before entering the Air Corps. He had been overseas three weeks at the time of his death. He died non Battle in a bomber crash on Luzon.

Funeral services will be held for Lt. Ralph (Bus) Lambert, 20, son of Mrs. George Lambert of Maryville. Lieutenant Lambert, who attended Maryville High School and Clemson College at Clemson, S.C., entered the Army Air Corps, Feb. 27, 1943, serving with the 405th Bombardment Squadron, 38th Bombardment Group. He was killed in a mid-air collision on Mongolden, Luzon, in the Philippine Island, May 19, 1945, while participating in a practice bombing flight.
Survivors include his mothers; sisters, Mrs. Paul Farmer, Misses Laura Frances and Virginia Bell Lambert; and brothers, Jack, George Jr., Gene, Glenn, Jerry and Eddy Lambert.
