Pfc. Ralph McFall, son of Mrs. Josie McFall, 210 Emmett Street, was killed in Belgium on Dec. 21, his family has been notified. He was 21 years old. Pfc. McFall volunteered four years ago. He had been overseas two years, and was with Lt. Gen. George S. Patton’s Third Army. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Lura Paul of Knoxville; three brothers, Seaman Second Class Burl H. McFall, somewhere in the Pacific, Ship’s Cook Second Class Frank McFall, stationed in San Diego, Calif., and J.C. McFall of Knoxville. Before entering service, Pfc. McFall attended Stair Technical High School and was employed at Lane’s Drug Store. He was a member of the Logan Street Baptist Church.
