Ralph Glenn Jones was born on 4 October 1932
Corporal Jones was a member of the 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, Company K. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea.

Corporal Ralph G. Jones is reported missing in action in Korea since April 23, according to a message received by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry L. Jones of 2100 ½ East Unaka Avenue. Corporal Jones enlisted in the Army at the age of 17. He left for basic training at Fort Knox, Ky., April 12, 1950 and was sent overseas the latter part of July last year. He was serving with Company K, 32nd Infantry Regiment, Seventh Division. He is the son of Mrs. Lula Combs of Princeton, W.Va., and the late Lenoir Jones, who was killed in an accident at Tri-City Airport May 18, 1937. A brother, Cpl. Henry L. Jones is serving with the U.S. Air Force.
