Ralph Catharma Taylor was the son of Catharma Zachery Taylor and Vola (Viola) Elizabeth Grider. He was married to Louise Alma “Lola” Marler. They were the parents of Elizabeth Louise Taylor.

He was  reported missing in action on 23 October 1944 in France and is memorialized at Epinal American Cemetery, Epinal (Vosges), France

“I was 7 years old when my dad left going to france that is the last time I saw him I am now going on 79 years of age and I still look for him to come home I have lost my mom 39 years ago and my sister 4 years ago I have no one anymore I have my daughter and my grand kids and great grand kids but would love to have any kind of information I could get on my dad
