Pfc. Paul Edward Pratt, age 23, of Route 4, Knoxville, was killed in action, Dec. 30, 1943 at Cape Gloucester, New Britain, while serving wtih the Seventh Marine Division, Second Batatlion. Survived by mother, Mrs. Elva Pratt Hornback; brother, Gene Pratt; sisters, Mrs. Tom Smith, Mrs. Ernest Young and Mrs. Albert Snyder; one half-brother, Jackie Hornback.
