Oswald Clayton South, Jr.

Sp4. South had served one year in the Army as a member of A Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division. His tour in Vietnam began on July 25, 1966, and he was killed in action in Binh Dinh, South Vietnam.
Oswald was returned to his childhood home and buried at Fentress Memory Gardens, Fentress County, Tennessee. He is honored on Panel 16E, Row 126 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
