Funeral services for Private First Class Orville M. Tollett, 24, who was killed in action on North Luzon on April 11, 1945, were held at the Lockesburg cemetery.
Pfc. Tollett is survived by his mother, Mrs. Grace Clark of Montgomery, Ala.; a brother, Thurston Tollett of Lakeland, Fla.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lula Ussery of Wright City; and his paternal grandfather, Louis Tollett of Lockesburg.

He had been in the South Pacific seven or eight months and was the eldest son of Mrs. Grace Clark of Chattanooga, Tenn. They were residents of Wilburton several years ago.

Pfc. Orville M. Tollett, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Clark, 331 Tremont Street, was killed April 11 on Luzon Island while serving with an infantry unit, his mother was officially informed yesterday. He was a former student at Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Grace Clark; one brother, Thurston Tollett, and stepfather, John C. Clark, now serving with a Navy unit at Great Lakes, Ill.
