Pvt. Frank Moore was born on 4 April 1922 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was the son of Alfred Moore and Rosie Lee Parks. He was the brother of Jessie M. Moore, Mary Moore, Willie Moore, Carrie Lee Moore, Edmond Moore, Otis Oddell Moore, Arthur Moore and Alfonzo Moore.
He was employed in restaurants as a cook before he entered the service and lived in Chattanooga, TN. He served with the 536th Quartermaster Corps, Company L, Service Battalion. He died in active service on 21 February 1943 at the Station Hospital at Fort Huachuca, Arizona of acute meningitis.
