Relatives of Pfc. Melvin Lee Crain, 22, formerly of Monroe County, have been informed that he was killed in an automobile wreck near Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, last Tuesday. Details were not given. Pfc. Crain has been in the Army nine months, and was to have returned to Monroe and Knox Counties this week for a furlough before going overseas. His wife, Mrs. Marry Webb Crain, and a year-old daughter, Shirley Christine, live in Madisonville. Funeral services were to be held today at Big Creek Baptist Church, Monroe County,
