Pvt. Lucas Gentry, who was killed in action December 8, on Leyte, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Gentry of Greeneville, formerly of Cocke county.
Pvt Gentry has been in service since December 5, 1942 and has been overseas since February of 1944. He has seen action in Guam as well as on Leyte. Besides his parents, he is survived by four brothers.
