Staff Sgt. Lonzie J. Stout, whose death in action was announced recently by the War Department, was killed March 7 in Germany, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Stout of Hampton, route 2 have learned. The sergeant began Army service in  December, 1942, and went overseas in August, 1944. In civilian life he attended Hampton High School and was employed with Tennessee Valley Authority. Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Pfc. Lother Stout, now serving in France, and Pfc. George T. Stout, in Germany, and a sister, Mrs. Markus H. Campbell of route 2.
