Funeral services will be held for Lester L. Pulley, 22, at the Erin Baptist Church. Burial will be in the McMillan Cemetery. Pvt. Pulley was killed in action on April 20,m, 1945, on northern Luzon, Philippine Islands. He was a gunner with the 105 MM detachment of Battery C, 251st Field Artillery 37th Division. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Berline Pulley; one brother, Buck Pulley; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Bell Carter and Mrs. Pete Claxton, all of Erin.
