Funeral services for Pvt. Leonard Lee Seddman, 32, whose body arrived here Tuesday afternoon, will be Held Sunday at 11 o’clock from the Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Pvt. Sedman was killed in battle in Italy on Oct. 8, 1944. He was serving with the 409th Replacement Company of the 88th Division with the 349th Infantry. Burial will be in the Buttram Cemetery with military honors being conducted at the graveside by the local VFW post and the Brady-Williams American Legion Post. Survivors include his widow, the present Mrs. Ellen Ferguson Colbaugh; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Sedman of Dayton; five brothers, Alfred Sedman, George Sedman and Jessie Sedman of Dayton, Frank Sedmann of Hixson and Timothy Sedman of Louisville, Ky.; six sisters, Mrs. Coy Hicks, Mrs. Robert Abel, Misses Amy, Ruby and Juanita Sedman of Dayton and Mrs. York Coxey of Chattanooga.
