Kenneth Harold Snyder was the son of William Wesley “Bill” Snyder, Sr. and Jennie Katherine “Kate” Holbrook. Kenneth married Helena Flora Towle. They were the parents of Kenneth and Gerald Snyder. Kenneth attended Knoxville High School.
He enlisted in the US Army on 8 June 1944 in Camp Shelby, MS. He served with Company A, 350th Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division and went overseas in November 1944. Pfc. Snyder was killed in Italy on April 18, 1945
