John Iven Baker was killed in France on July 3, his father Walter Baker, Bluff City, Tenn., has been notified in a telegram from the War department. Young Baker had been in the armed forces since October 23, 1942, and went overseas in March of this year. His brother, Carl Baker is now serving in the army overseas.
