Pvt. James McCoy body returning. Two hundred and seven Tennessee World War II dead are among the 7,129 American dead who have been returned to the United States from Europe aboard the Army Transport Lawrence Victory, Lieut. Col. Dan L. Miller, Chief of Memphis General Depot’s American Graves registration Division announced today. Included in the list of returned war dead is Pvt. James W. McCoy, son of Miljard F. McCoy of Route 1, Neva.
