James Robert Shultz was born on 5 May 1925 to Ernest and Rinda T. Shultz. He was married to Mary Leasty Phillips Shultz and they had a son James Shultz Jr. Pvt Shultz was killed in action on 10 October 1944 in France. He is buried at Phillips Cemetery, Newport, TN
