James Galbraith was an aviation cadet in navigation at AAFNS, HAAF, Hondo, Medina County, Texas. He died after an accidental airplane crash at AAFNS, HAAF, Hondo, Texas in aircraft AT-7 with serial number 41-21053. He was the son of Charles C. and Stella C. Galbraith. He is buried at Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Rhea County in Tennessee.
