James Ira Hensley was born on 21 July 1908, the son of Allen James Hensley and Laura Greenwood Graham. He was married to Rosina (Ina) Campbell and father of Ira Franklin (Joe) Hensley, Billy Hensley, Bobby Hensley, Alma Grace Hensley, Delia Maxine Hensley, Martha Aileen Hensley, Mabel Jourline Hensley, James Ray Hensley and Carl Hensley.
He Died of Wounds 19 April 1945 suffered in Germany.
