Funeral for Private First Class James H. Willens, who died July 13, 1944 as a result of wounds received in the European theater three days earlier, is to be held in Boones Creek Christian Church. Burial will be in Monte Vista Burial Park. The body is to arrive here on Southern train No. 46 Saturday. Willens, who was 23 at the time of his death, entered the service July 30, 1943. He was a member of Boones Creek Christian Church. Surviving are his mother and stepfather,, Mr. and Mrs. James D. Watkins, Jonesboro, route 5; a half-brother, Frank Watkins of Jonesboro and five sisters, Mrs. Frank Charnitaki of Shickshinny, Pa., Mrs. Walter Ward, Miss Mildred Willens and Miss Cleo Willens and a half-sister, Miss Jean Watkins, all of Jonesboro.
