James Coleman Wiseman was the son of Jacob A. “Jake” Wiseman and Martha Jane Tyler. He had been in the army for two years, having volunteered. He was home in July, and the last letter written his parents on Dec. 4, 1942, was received by them on Jan. 4. He was survived by his parents, one brother, Billy Wiseman and a sister, Miss Elizabeth Wiseman, Madisonville, Route 4. Another brother, Cpl. Sherman Wiseman was stationed at Fort Jackson, S.C.
