James Albert Waldrop, 24, of Morristown, died at 1 p.m. yesterday in the Veteran’s Hospital at Oteen, N.C., He had served five months as an Army private and was discharged recently because of ill health. Surviving are the widow, a son, Albert Wayne; a daughter, Nora Jean, and the mother, Mrs. Lucy Smith, all of Morristown; the father, Albert Waldrop, Highbridge, Ky.; two brothers, Pvt. Minnis E. Waldrop, Camp Forrest, and Billy Waldrop, Morristown; two half-brothers, J.C. and Glenn Smith, Morristown; a half-sister, Ina Jean Smith, Morristown, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James G. Jones, Morristown.
