Staff Sergeant Hubert Cole, husband of Mrs. Bertha Greene Cole, was killed in action in France July 14, Mrs. Cole has been informed. Sgt. Cole had been in service five years and overseas twenty months. He is survived by his wife, a small daughter, Brenda Joyce and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cole and four brothers and four sisters.
