Harry Lee Cobble was born on 15 November 1916, to Jefferson Leander Cobble and Ilent Moles. He was married to Leota Oena Moses and father of James Harold Cobble.
He entered the service in March, 1944 and went overseas in August, 1944. He was killed in action on 29 October 1944 in Belgium and was initially buried at Henri-Chapelle American War Cemetery, Belgium
