The body of Private Glenn H. Mitchell, who died in action June 27, 1943, while serving with the United States Army in North Africa, will arrive in Johnson City on the Tennessean from Atlanta, Ga. Mitchell, who was 26 at the time of his death, was drowned and was buried in Algiers. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Henry Mitchell, city, route 4; a sister, Mrs. Bert Hicks; a half-brother, Hobart Mitchell, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Byrd and Miss Betty Jean Michell, all of Johnson City.
