George Washington Singelton was born 15 September 1889, son of William Henry Singleton and Sarah Jane Hipsher. He was wounded on 18 October 1918 and died of pneumonia on 9 November 1918. He is buried at New Bethel Cemetery, Lone Mountain, TN.
