George William McKinley Pratt was the son of Clarence Albert Pratt and Lona Maude Jones. He was the husband of Lorene Elizabeth Crosby.
He is memorialized at Luxembourg American Cemetery in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

Pfc. George W. Pratt, son of Mrs. Lona Pratt, 1653 Mabry Avenue, was killed in action in Germany Feb. 27, his family has been notified. He was 22 years old. His wife, Mrs. Larine Pratt, and son, Billie, one year, live at 1512 Lawrence Avenue. Pfc. Pratt had been in the Army a year and overseas nine months. He was with the Ninth Army in an armroe3d unit. Besides his wife, mother, he is survived by a brother, Albert Pratt, and a sister, Ruby Pratt, both of Knoxville. He attended Knoxville High, and was a member of East Main Avenue Methodist Church.
