George H. Wilhoit was born in Chuckey, Tennessee was born 24 December 1891, Greene County, Tennessee to Samuel B. and Mary Wilhoit. He was married to Rebecca Reeve Lyon. He was killed in action 29 September 1918, at the Bellicourt area, Hindenburg Line, France.
George Wilhoit was initially buried at the American Cemetery, Bony, Aisne in France and buried in the National Cemetery in Greeneville on 25th of April, 1921.
